Travel Guide for Cambodia & Vietnam
Cambodia and Vietnam are fascinating countries that continue to attract travellers from around the world. From the awe-inspiring temples of Angkor and the laid-back riverside towns of Cambodia to the ancient capital of Hanoi and the sparkling waters of Halong Bay in Vietnam, a journey through these destinations offers a perfect mix of friendly locals, lush jungles, stunning coastlines, and vibrant cities.

When to Go
In general, the best time to organise a Cambodia and Vietnam tour is between November and April. During this period, the weather is drier, with lower humidity and more comfortable temperatures, especially in northern and central Vietnam. Rainfall is also less frequent across both countries.
However, this is the peak travel season, so prices for accommodation and tours tend to be higher. It’s recommended to plan and book early, particularly around late January or early February during the Vietnamese Tet Festival.
The period from May to October is considered the off-season (wet season). Tourist numbers are lower and prices are more affordable. While rain is more frequent, it usually comes in short, heavy bursts, meaning there is still plenty of time to explore.
