Detailed Itinerary:
Today we start in the morning for around 2.5 hour drive south of the capital to Phnom Chisor. Upon arrival at Phnom Chisor you will climb the 461 steps to the top of the hill for a magnificent view. The temple there was built in the 11th century by King Suryavarman I. It is made of laterite and bricks and carved sandstone lintels. Explore the temple and admire the views before returning to the bottom. Take a short break before you continue to Angkor Borei and Phnom Da. Arrive at Angkor Borei we first visit Angkor Borei Museum to learn about pre-angkorian artifacts discover at the sites around the former city. Take another short drive to twin hills: one home to the pre-Angkorian hilltop temple of Phnom Da, and the other to 8th-century Wat Ashram Moha Russei. The earliest archaeological evidence found at Angkor Borei dates back to 400BC.
