Day 1: Arrival in Luang Prabang

Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a flexible introduction to this UNESCO World Heritage town, with optional visits or a leisurely stroll through its charming streets.

  Day 2: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves

For early risers, begin your day around 6:00 AM with the opportunity to witness or participate in the traditional almsgiving ceremony, where hundreds of monks quietly walk through the streets collecting offerings—an unforgettable cultural experience.

Return to your hotel for breakfast before setting out on a scenic boat journey along the Mekong River.
Visit the revered Pak Ou Caves, dramatically set within limestone cliffs at the meeting point of the Mekong and Nam Ou Rivers. Inside, you will find thousands of Buddha statues placed by devotees over centuries, making it one of Laos’ most important spiritual sites.

After exploring the caves, return to Luang Prabang by boat, enjoying lunch along the way.
The afternoon is free for you to relax or explore the town at your own pace. Luang Prabang’s compact layout makes it perfect for walking, with a variety of temples, cafés, and local shops to discover.

  Day 3: Luang Prabang – Kuang Si Waterfall – Departure

Return to Luang Prabang and enjoy free time at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
